We run two Dando 2500 cable percussion rigs - the mainstay of our cable percussion fleet.
Like all our Dando rigs it operates with casing and tooling at 150mm (6"), 200mm (8"), 250mm (10") and 300mm (12"), with telescopic casing where geology or the contamination regime dictates. A variety of downhole tools are used depending on the ground - bailers/shells for loose or saturated soils, clay cutters/chisels for cohesive or stiff soils. SPTs can be undertaken at defined intervals and U100 thick or thin walled samples collected in cohesive material, alongside bulk and disturbed samples for laboratory testing. Boreholes can be installed with gas/groundwater monitoring and remediation wells, from standard 50mm ID installs to wells up to 250mm diameter.
